What is the clay tile body made of?
All tiles are crafted from 100% natural clay that is filtered to remove impurities before forming. A glaze coating is applied to the clay body and permanently fused during high-temperature kiln firing. No binding agents are used at any stage of this process.
What is the glaze made of?
The glazes are blends of sand and mineral pigments melted together at high temperature. Once kiln-fired onto the clay body, the resulting finish is hard-wearing and resistant to moisture, contributing to the tile's long-term performance.
