The full process takes approximately one week and involves the following steps, performed in order:
- Apply the first coat of linseed oil and allow it to soak in for one full day.
- Apply the second coat of linseed oil and allow it to soak in for one full day.
- Apply the third coat of linseed oil and allow it to soak in for one full day.
- Apply Fiddes & Sons Supreme Wax polish in Rugger Brown as a finishing treatment to deepen and enrich the final color.
- Grout the tiles and clean up the grout haze; repeat this clean-up step on three separate occasions until the desired outcome is achieved.
