Can I use linseed oil or wax on terracotta tiles to change the color to a darker tone?

Our customer shares a DIY method for this on Organic Terracotta tiles.

One of our valued customers, Chelsea Sharp @sharpabode, successfully used a DIY method to darken the color, tone, and overall appearance of our Organic Terracotta tiles. These tiles are particularly susceptible to change since they come unsealed. Chelsea opted for our organic terracotta tiles and sealed them three times with linseed oil. She then applied Fiddes & Sons Supreme Wax polish in Rugger Brown to add a finishing touch.

Chelsea allowed each coat of linseed oil to soak in for a day before applying the next, which resulted in a week-long process to complete the sealing and waxing. Afterward, she had to grout and clean up the haze on three separate occasions to achieve the desired outcome.
