Why does it take 1–2 weeks to pack an order?
Tile orders require careful inspection, packing, and pallet preparation before they’re ready to ship.
Once your tile is ready, it typically takes 1–2 weeks to inspect, pack, and prepare your order for shipment.
Tile is heavy, fragile, and often made up of hundreds of individual pieces, so packing takes a little more care than your average shipment. Before an order leaves our warehouse, our team:
- Inspects the tile before packing
- Carefully boxes and organizes each part of the order
- Builds and secures the pallet for freight transit
- Wraps and protects everything to help prevent damage along the way
Different tile sizes, shapes, and quantities can also affect how long an order takes to pack.
We know everyone is excited to get their tile, but we don’t rush the packing process at the expense of getting it there safely. Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking information so you can follow it on its way.
